 Introduction
 

The Party Prophets have been the
voices and musicians alongside the legendary Hall
of Fame, singer/entertainer, Billy Scott for nearly
nineteen years. Billy Scott was well known for
such beach music classics as “I Got The Fever”,
“California”, “Beach Trip”, “Roll Around Rockin”,
“Rockin’ Good Way“, and the smash hit song, “My
Kind Of Girl”, to name a few. Billy Scott passed away
in November of 2012. The Party Prophets are
continuing the music in the spirit of Billy Scott.

Cindy Floyd, the Party Prophets female vocalist,
has been singing, dancing and entertaining front
and center with Billy Scott for many years. Cindy
recorded several duets with Billy Scott, including
 the Cammy Award nominated song , "Rockin’
Good Way". In 2003 and 2009, Cindy performed
that duet with Billy Scott backed by The Long Bay
Symphony in Myrtle Beach. Party Prophets, guitarist,
Randy Floyd, also played with the Long Bay
Symphony. Cindy and Randy Floyd had
the privilege of recording two CD’s with Billy Scott
and The Prophets titled “Ready to Party” and
“Singers and Songwriters”.  The “Ready To Party” CD
was nominated for three Cammy Awards in 1999.
The Party Prophets have played
some of the largest venues in the southeast. While
working with Billy Scott, they opened shows for the
Temptations, The Temptations Revue with Dennis
 Edwards, The Commodores, Maurice Williams and
The Zodiacs, Clifford Curry, The Clovers,
Amazing Rhythm Aces, The Impressions, Aaron
 Neville, Chairmen of The Board, The Embers, The
Craig Woolard Band, Jim Quick and Coastline, The
Swingin’ Medallions and many others.

In April of 2012, Cindy Floyd performed the National
Anthem in Chicago at U S Cellular Field for the
Chicago White Sox / Baltimore Oriole baseball game.
Cindy also was asked to record a song titled “Mercy”
for the Judie’s Patio Party compilation CD titled
“Friends”. That recording helped Cindy get a 2012
Carolina Beach Music Awards nomination in the best
Female Vocalist category.

In 2013, The Party Prophets joined forces with

Danny Woods, original member of Chairmen of The

Board. They worked with Danny for a couple of years.

Danny passed away in 2018.

Gene Pharr is a professional R & B singer, who has

toured the southeast for many years. He has entertained

audiences of all sizes, with his silky smooth soulful voice.

He is also a fabulous entertainer. In 2016 Gene was

inducted into the CBMA Hall of Fame.

Gene has been singing with The Party Prophets since 2015.

Gene has recorded several records throughout his career

including: "Tribute To Billy Stewart", "More Than I Can Stand",

Still In Love With You" and "Kick Back Relax and Smile".

The Party Prophets with Gene Pharr and Cindy Floyd are professional,
talented, singers and musicians with years of
experience playing, festivals, corporate events, private
parties, concert series, wedding receptions and night
clubs. They are self contained with sound and lighting
and an experienced professional sound technician.

The Party Prophets worked with Billy
Scott, one of the best entertainers in the business.
Cindy Floyd learned the art of entertaining from the
master. She and lead singer, Gene Pharr and the Party Prophets are continuing to
bring beach, blues, Motown, soul, funk and oldies to
dance floors all over the southeast. The Party Prophets
and Cindy Floyd are keeping the "Fever" going!
